Perhaps even being free of every increasing energy bills?
Solar power means turning your home or business into a mini renewable power plant. You’ll be turning clean solar energy into usable electricity all year round. Instead of paying to use the grid, you could be selling to it!
Lower Bills
Installing solar panels means lower electricity bills every month. You’ll also be immune from the regular price hikes from the big utility providers.
Green Energy
Solar electricity is a renewable energy source. Clean energy reduces your carbon footprint and reduces pollutants.
Solar installations are almost maintenance free

Sell Your Energy
How much energy do you gain from Solar Panels?
A 4kWp system produces around 3,400 KWH annually.
What does that mean?
- A washing machine for 4,857 hours
- A fridge for 97,143 hours
- A fridge for 97,143 hours
- An oven for 1,417 hours
- A kettle for 1,880 hours
How much will you save?
Around £800 annually
Boost your Energy Savings with Solar Panel Batteries
Catch the sun, store it and boost your savings.
Battery systems come at a cost but see them as a long-term investment. You will get a return on your money and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time.
There are two types of battery AC and DC. The difference is in the way the battery connects to your solar panel system.
AC or Alternating Current Battery
This battery connects via your electricity meter. This makes it the option when connecting to existing solar panels.
Requires an inverter*.
DC or Direct Current Battery
This battery type tends to be installed at the same time as the solar panels as they will connect directly to the panels.
Does NOT require an inverter*.
You will need an additional inverter* to convert DC electricity to AC for use in your home and then back to DC to be stored in the battery
*Inverter
Converts the direct current (DC) power that solar panels create to alternating current (AC) power that is usable in homes and businesses or fed directly into the grid.
Protect your Investment
Solar Panels and Pest Control
You’ll want to safeguard your investment for many years to come so please consider protecting your solar panels from pests such as pigeons and other vermin.
Dirt and faeces left behind by unwanted pigeons quickly covers the surface of your solar panels, meaning a decrease in power and effectiveness.
In addition to this, pigeon droppings have a highly acidic quality, meaning that if left they can cause corrosion and structural damage. Furthermore, bird droppings are known to be carriers of at least three diseases: Cryptococcosis, Histoplasmosis and Psittacosis not something you want on the roof or your patio.
Optional Pest Control Services
- We provide two optional services to combat pests. We install solar panel bird exclusions at the same time as the solar panel installation. This option is more cost-effective in the long term.
- Post Installations normally require removal of birds, nest, and a quick health check of cables in case of damage, plus cleaning of panels. This option can be more costly due to the mess and damage birds can course.
Cost of option 1 £160.00 to £300.00
Cost of option 2 would be priced after the site survey.
So what is it REALLY going to cost me?
So, in the REAL world, looking beyond the ‘sales’ headline prices, an approximation of the cost of a 4KW solar systems is would be:
So why so much more?

A Bungalow
£5,700.00
2, 3 or 4 Bedroom House
£6,000.00
2, 3 or 4 Bedroom 3 Storey House
£6,300.00
Solar Panels FAQ
Planning permission is not needed in most cases to install a solar panel system on your property. However, if you live in a conservation area or a listed building please contact us for advice.
The most suitable site would be a south facing property with no obstructions that cause shading like trees or adjacent buildings as this can have a large effect on the amount of energy you will receive.
If you feel your roof is in need of some repairs, we would highly recommend that you undertake a structural survey before installing Solar Panels.
You will require around 24 square meters of space for a 4kw system.
On average in the UK a 4kw system will cost around £6,000 and pays for itself within 7.5 years.
